2.2 Information Collected Automatically (Client & Website)

• Anonymous usage statistics – e.g., client version, Java version, OS type, enabled modules (no personally identifiable data). You can disable this in the client settings.
• Crash reports – automatically generated stack traces, which may include file paths and system state. These help us fix bugs quickly.
• Cookies and analytics – our website uses essential cookies (via Font Awesome, Google Fonts) and may employ simple page counters. We do not use cross-site tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used solely for:

• Improving Cheese Client’s stability, performance, and features.
• Diagnosing and fixing errors, crashes, or incompatibilities.

Cheese Client does not share your Minecraft account credentials, IP address, or personal chats.

• Discord messages and GitHub issues are retained according to those platforms' policies; we manually purge old, resolved threads.
