1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Cheese Client ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not install, use, or distribute the Software. Cheese Client is provided as a third-party enhancement utility for Minecraft and is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

2. Description of Service

Cheese Client is a free, open‑inspired Minecraft utility mod that offers various gameplay enhancements including but not limited to combat assistance, movement tweaks, visual modifications, and performance optimizations. The Software is provided "as is" and we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. User Responsibilities

You acknowledge that the use of enhancement clients on multiplayer servers may violate server rules. You are solely responsible for any consequences arising from your use of Cheese Client, including but not limited to account bans, reputation loss, or server restrictions. We strongly recommend that you:

• Review individual server rules before using any features.
• Use the client discreetly and responsibly.
• Keep the Software updated to the latest version.
• Never share your account credentials or claim the Software as your own.

4. Intellectual Property

Cheese Client’s source code, assets, logos, and visual identity are the property of the Cheese Client development team unless otherwise noted. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Software except where explicitly permitted by applicable law. The Minecraft name, brand, and related assets are property of Mojang AB / Microsoft.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that Cheese Client will be error‑free, secure, or compatible with all system configurations. Use of the Software is at your own risk. No oral or written information given by us shall create a warranty.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Cheese Client or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the Software; (ii) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; (iii) conduct of any third party on the Software.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via our website or Discord community. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Software after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Software immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Software will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the development team operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
